The bark of this incredibly tender, naked wood is sensually caressed by a voluptuous rose. Oud is illuminated and unveiled through the gentle touch of creamy sandalwood, then exalted by Madagascan vanilla tincture.

According to Delphine Jelk, the scent of Oud Nude might evoke the sensually contoured sculptures of Constantin Brâncuși in light, nude tones. Black by nature, oud is considered to be one of the most mysterious materials used in perfumery. The penetrating fragrance of this precious substance lies in its resin, secreted from the core of the wood.

Grown sustainably and harvested by hand following a time-honoured ritual, the oud chosen by Guerlain Perfumers is sourced from the forests of Bangladesh on the border with Assam. Its essence exudes elegantly woody scents with leathery, subtly animalic tones.
